AS Roma head into matchday 34 of the Serie A season with five games left to play, as they travel to face Bologna. With a top-four finish still within reach, Roma will be aiming to pick up an important three points away from home.
Their recent form on the road has been a concern, with four defeats and one draw in their last five away league matches. In their previous game, Roma were held to a 1-1 draw by Atalanta, a result that slightly dented their push for Champions League qualification. They currently sit sixth in the table with 58 points.
There is positive news on the team front, as several important players are returning to the squad. Paulo Dybala is back and available after recovering from a knee injury.
Wesley and Devyne Rensch have also returned after dealing with hamstring and thigh problems respectively.
However, Roma still face issues in midfield. Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini remains unavailable due to a muscle injury, while Manu Koné is also sidelined with a similar issue.
In attack, long-term absentees Artem Dovbyk and Evan Ferguson are still out, leaving limited options up front.
Mile Svilar is expected to retain his place in goal, protected by a consistent back three consisting of Gianluca Mancini, Evan Ndicka, and Mario Hermoso.
Possible AS Roma starting XI: Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso; Çelik, Cristante, Pisilli, Wesley; Soulé, El Shaarawy; Malen.
The match will kick off at 5pm BST on Saturday, 25th April.
For viewers in the United Kingdom, Bologna vs AS Roma will be available to stream online via OneFootball, while the match is also scheduled for broadcast on TNT Sports 8.
