Aston Villa and Benfica vying for Palhinha's signature amid varying reports | OneFootball

Aston Villa and SL Benfica are currently the most concrete options for João Palhinha to leave Bayern Munich this summer.

Contrary to various reports, Sky Germany's sources are reporting that Palhinha is not expected to be at Aston Villa today. 

The reigning German double champions have still not reached an agreement with any club at this stage, hence the lack of movement.

As it stands, the current plan is for Palhinha to travel back to Munich on Sunday for his start of Bayern’s pre-season training.

 However, Bayern pushing for a sale with director of sport Max Eberl eager to offload the midfielder contracted until 2028.
