Aston Villa confirm youngster to return from loan in January | OneFootball

Aston Villa have confirmed that impressive youngster Louie Barry will be recalled from his loan at Stockport County in the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who was once part of the set up at Barcelona, has scored 24 goals in 44 appearances for Dave Challinor's team since first joining on loan in the summer of 2023.

This season alone, he leads the League One goalscoring charts with 14 goals in 21 league appearances, form so good that Villa have been convinced to recall him.

It is widely expected that he will head out on loan to a higher level club for the second half of the campaign.
