Sevilla’s Loïc Badé has been turning heads with his performances, especially after shining for France at the Summer Olympics. With Milan Skriniar now at Fenerbahçe SK, Paris Saint-Germain might be on the lookout for a center-back.
Badé’s rise hasn’t gone unnoticed. French national team coach Didier Deschamps called him up for the October international break, highlighting his growing reputation.
Top clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on the defender. According to a previous report from SPORT, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and PSG all expressed interest in Badé last fall.
Meanwhile, Spanish outlet Diario AS claims Liverpool see him as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk. Scouts from the Premier League side were even spotted watching him during Sevilla’s clash with Barcelona at Montjuïc in October.

CaughtOffside reported on Wednesday, citing sources, that Aston Villa, after selling Diego Carlos to Fenerbahçe, are looking to sign a central defender before the January transfer window closes. They have identified Badé as a potential target.
The La Liga club has set a €60 million release clause for the player, while Villa’s initial offer stands at €21 million plus €4 million in add-ons. Moreover, the report, citing sources, claims that an agreement is likely before the window shuts, but Monchi and Unai Emery will need to significantly raise their bid to secure the player.
