Aston Villa interested in Roma’s Matias Soule | OneFootball

Serie A Roma are likely to face Financial Fairplay issues in the next few months and Matias Soule is now attracting attention from Aston Villa.

The Argentine has largely done well so far this season. But since returning from a groin issue, he hasn’t quite looked the same.

Il Messaggero report that Soule’s future might not be fully secure, as Roma need to make capital gains by the end of June due to Financial FairPlay demands.

Aston Villa have been keeping tabs on him for a while and Unai Emery’s side are interested in a summer move.

Sporting director Ricky Massara is yet to make a final decision about the Argentine, who is also of interest to Bournemouth. 

Soule weighs €15m on Roma’s accounts and anything over that will go down as a capital gain for the club. Other players in fray to leave are Evan Ndicka and midfielder Manu Kone.
