Carlos Augusto has attracted interest from the Premier League, but Inter Milan have no intention of letting the Brazilian leave.

According to L’Interista, both Aston Villa and Newcastle United are interested in the versatile Brazilian defender.

The former Monza wing-back has become a valuable tactical weapon under Cristian Chivu. Coaches prize his versatility.

He can step into the back three in place of Alessandro Bastoni or operate on the left flank as an alternative to Federico Dimarco.

Chivu has even tested him on the right during injury emergencies, although that role suits him less.

Carlos Augusto remains under contract until 2028, and talks over an extension could follow if both sides share the same vision.

He already plays heavy minutes and holds a trusted role in the rotation.

The key question for the future is whether he will seek a guaranteed starting spot elsewhere or continue as a high-level utility option in Milan.

Inter’s directors value him at around €30 million, yet they consider him unsellable. The player also shows no desire to leave.

Interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle United has been noted, but no direct contact has taken place.
