The Villa Park outfit are keen on adding wide attackers to their ranks after they experienced a brilliant last season under Unai Emery.

Former Norwich City winger Jonathan Rowe emerged as a top target for them, but Bologna have made it clear that the Englishman is not for sale.

Another Serie A winger, in the shape of Roma’s Matias Soule, is also a desirable target for the Birmingham club and offers could fly in for him this week.

Villa recently received a boost in their interest in him as the 23-year-old prefers a move to the English top flight.

The Villans, though, are keeping their eyes on other targets as well, and are now looking towards a Ligue 1 winger.

According to Sky Switzerland, Belgium star Fernandez-Pardo is a name that Villa have added to their summer transfer list.

It has also been suggested that the Europa League champions have already talked to the 21-year-old winger’s representatives.

And besides that, the English club will be watching the Lille winger in the ongoing World Cup; he had a four-minute cameo in Belgium’s 1-1 draw against Egypt.

Aston Villa appreciate Fernandez-Pardo’s pace and ability to run behind the opponents’ backline.

The 21-year-old can play anywhere across the frontline and first attracted interest in his early days with Belgian top-flight side Gent.

The likes of Leicester City, Liverpool and Southampton were keen on him in the summer of 2024, but he ended up joining French side Lille.

Les Dogues paid out a €12m package for the Belgian and he has directly contributed to 23 goals in 71 games for the Ligue 1 side.
