Aston Villa start 2026-27 at Brighton, early Villa Park test against champions Arsenal | OneFootball

Aston Villa begin the 2026-27 Premier League at Brighton on Sunday 23 August, two pm kick-off, live on Sky Sports after the fixture was moved due to the hosts playing in the Conference League play-offs the previous Thursday.

ExpressAndStar.com reports that Unai Emery’s side then host champions Arsenal at Villa Park the following weekend.

September brings away trips to newly-promoted Hull City and Tottenham, either side of a home game with Nottingham Forest.

A first meeting with Coventry since 2001 arrives on Saturday 12 December, which will also be Villa’s first ever visit to the CBS Arena.

The festive run includes Leeds at home on Saturday 26 December and Liverpool at home on Wednesday 30 December, before Villa start the new year away at Bournemouth.

They visit Manchester City on Sunday 23 May, then finish by hosting Tottenham on Sunday 30 May.

All fixtures, apart from the Brighton opener, are subject to change for television selection.
