Chelsea travel to Aston Villa tonight looking to get one over a direct rival for one of those illustrious Champions League places. The Blues have hit a snag in form recently, stumbling to a 2-1 defeat by Arsenal to follow 1-1 and 2-2 draws against Burnley and Leeds United respectively. Liam Rosenior’s side could consider themselves unfortunate to be beaten at the Emirates Stadium last time out, but focus already turns to this evening, where they take on a side who are also not in the best of form.

Unai Emery’s men lost hold of third place over the weekend, with their 2-0 loss at Wolves meaning that Manchester United leapfrogged above them, with the Villans now with just one win in their last five Premier League outings.
