Atalanta ‘agree’ €11m deal plus bonuses for Gianluca Gaetano | OneFootball

Atalanta have reportedly agreed a deal worth €11m plus add-ons for Cagliari midfielder Gianluca Gaetano, with personal terms also in place.

Sky Sport Italia reports the final details are being finalised over the next 24 hours, after which he can undergo a medical.

The package is €11m guaranteed, with up to €4m in performance-related bonuses, close to the €15m asking price.

The 26-year-old was specifically requested by new Atalanta coach Maurizio Sarri and will take the place of Ederson, who is heading to Manchester United this summer.

A Napoli academy graduate, Gaetano spent loan spells at Cremonese and Cagliari before making a permanent move to Sardinia for €6.2m in 2025.

He made 35 competitive appearances for Cagliari last season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
