Atalanta ‘have offered’ €30m for Rowe, bid rejected | OneFootball

According to Sky Sport Italia, Atalanta have offered €30m to Bologna for Rowe, with the bid rejected following Aston Villa interest.

The move comes after a 0-0 first-leg Conference League play-off draw with Hapoel Tel-Aviv, which underlined the need for reinforcements for new coach Maurizio Sarri.

Atalanta announced one addition today, bringing in Eljif Elmas on loan with an option to buy from RB Leipzig.

Bologna are adamant they will not sell the winger this summer, only a year after signing him from Marseille and having already lost Santiago Castro to Roma.

They paid €17m plus bonuses and included a 10 per cent resale clause in the deal. Rowe returned eight goals and five assists in 43 competitive appearances last season.
