Atalanta squad to face Feyenoord, Toure left out amid Parma and Marseille interest | OneFootball

Atalanta announced their squad for a pre-season friendly with Feyenoord, leaving out El Bilal Touré, who is wanted by Parma and Olympique Marseille.

La Dea are travelling to Rotterdam today for the Deik Cup match, which kicks off on Sunday at 14.00 UK time (15.00 CEST).

Maurizio Sarri’s only real pre-season game so far has been a 3-2 win over Arezzo, after beating their own youth team 2-1.

The list of players making the journey to the Netherlands was confirmed on the club website and was notably missing a name.

Touré was a big investment for Atalanta, who paid €30m to buy him from UD Almeria in the summer of 2023, but he never delivered on his promise.

The Mali international was loaned to VfB Stuttgart and then Besiktas, but has no future in Bergamo.

According to transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà, the most likely destination for Touré is Parma, who aim to sign him on loan with an option to buy that could become an obligation if certain conditions are met.

Olympique Marseille are the other strong contenders for the striker.
