Atalanta Star Informs Club He Only Wants Inter Milan This Summer | OneFootball

Ademola Lookman has informed Atalanta that he has no intention of remaining in Bergamo next season and will only consider a transfer to Inter Milan.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.it, the Nigeria international has made clear that he will not consider any other proposals, despite interest from Serie A champions Napoli.

The Orobici are well aware that Lookman does not want to stay at the Gewiss Stadium and have already factored in a transfer fee to their budget, but are now constrained by the fact that he will only accept a switch to Inter.

Any hopes of fuelling a bidding war have been squashed by Lookman’s communication, but Inter must still find an agreement with Atalanta over an acceptable transfer fee.

The Biscione have made a €40 million offer for the 27-year-old, but Atalanta are looking for an agreement closer to €50m, but the newspaper reports that a deal could be struck within the next fortnight.

This would coincide with Lookman’s return to fitness from a minor calf injury he sustained earlier in the summer.
