Athletic put Sporting de Portugal allocation on sale to home fans after UEFA sanction | OneFootball

Athletic have released for home supporters the tickets set aside for Sporting de Portugal fans at Wednesday’s match in San Mamés.

According to El Correo, the switch follows a UEFA sanction that bars the visiting supporters from entering La Catedral.

The away allocation, originally reserved for Sporting followers, has been put on sale to Athletic fans.

As a result, there will be no Sporting presence in the stands.

Those seats have been folded into the home sections for this fixture.
