Athletic to face Racing Santander in Laredo as pre-season schedule takes shape | OneFootball

Athletic will play Racing Santander, the Segunda champions, on Wednesday 29 July, the fifth friendly of Edin Terzic’s pre-season.

According to El Correo, the game will be staged at Estadio San Lorenzo de Laredo, with kick-off at seven pm.

The event will also involve the supporters’ group Peña 7 de Abril Aitor Paredes, based in the Cantabrian town, and a lively Athletic following is expected.

Athletic’s summer begins on 15 July against Derio at La Florida.

They then face SD Leioa on 18 July at Sarriena, before meeting Sestao River four days later at Las Llanas.

The more demanding fixtures arrive two weeks before the league, starting on 29 July and followed three days later by Burgos at El Plantío on one August.
