At 34 years old, Griezmann became the 1st player in Atletico’s history to score 200 goal for the club. He achieved the feat in his 454 appearance, just days after scoring against Real Madrid in La liga.

A long journey with Atletico

Griezmann first joined Atletico in 2014 from Real Sociedad before leaving for Barcelona in 2019.

He returned in 2021 and has since solidified his status as the club’s all time top scorer surpassing legend Luis Aragones who netted 173 goal.
