Atlético Madrid reach agreement with PSG over Lee Kang-in transfer | OneFootball

Atlético Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are reported to have reached an agreement over the transfer of Lee Kang-in (25), according to information from Onze Mondial.

The deal, which was first mooted several weeks ago, is now set to be finalised and is expected to bring in nearly €40m for the reigning double European champions – almost double the €22m they paid to sign him from RCD Mallorca in 2023.

Although not regarded by Luis Enrique as an undisputed first-team regular, the South Korean has established himself as a trusted player at the club. Having made 39 appearances (19 as a starter) for Paris last season, Kang-in proved decisive on nine occasions, scoring four goals and providing five assists.

For the Incheon-born player, this return to Spain, to a league he knows very well (he has made 110 appearances in La Liga), marks the start of a new chapter in his still-young career.
