Atlético star fires warning to Real Madrid ahead of derby clash | OneFootball

Atlético Madrid star Robin Le Normand has this week sent something of a warning the way of Real Madrid.

This, of course, comes as the two sides prepare to lock horns for the latest time this coming weekend.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real are set to play host to city rivals Atlético in La Liga on Saturday night, in the latest edition of the Madrid Derby.

The matchup represents a crucial one amid the ongoing race for supremacy in the Spanish top-flight, with the former boasting a slender one-point advantage over Diego Simeone’s troops in the table.

One member of the latter’s squad who will play no part in the clash comes in the form of the aforementioned Robin Le Normand, with the defender set to miss out through suspension.

Speaking to the media in the buildup to the clash, however, Le Normand has warned Real Madrid that his teammates are ‘going to get it done’ at the Santiago Bernabéu:

“I would have paid a lot to be able to play at the Bernabéu. I would have loved to play that match, but I trust my teammates – we’re going to get it done.”
