Augsburg ‘planning move’ for Hennes Behrens | OneFootball

According to Sky Germany, FC Augsburg are in concrete negotiations with TSG Hoffenheim over 21-year-old full-back Hennes Behrens, with a permanent deal under discussion.

The Hoffenheim defender is viewed as a leading target, but any move depends on left-back Dimitrios Giannoulis securing a transfer to PAOK, a separate negotiation that is said to be proving difficult.

Behrens spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Heidenheim, making 16 Bundesliga appearances.

During that spell, he scored one goal and provided two assists.

Heidenheim were relegated to the 2. Bundesliga despite his contributions.
