Augsburg set to sign talented Hoffenheim left-back | OneFootball

After spending the second half of last season on loan at 1. FC Heidenheim, Hennes Behrens is now seemingly leaving TSG Hoffenheim on a permanent basis.

According to Sky Germany, Augsburg have reached an agreement to sign the 21-year-old left-back.

The German broadcaster reports that the two clubs have agreed a transfer fee of €3.5 million plus a further €1 million available in bonuses. Hoffenheim have also secured a 10 percent sell-on clause as part of the deal.

Behrens has agreed a contract with Augsburg until 2031, with the transfer expected to be officially announced in the near future.

The youngster made an immediate impact at Heidenheim after joining on loan in January, registering 16 appearances, one goal and two assists for the club that was ultimately relegated from the Bundesliga.
