Augusto double fires Caykur Rizespor up to 10th | OneFootball

Caykur Rizespor beat Samsunspor 4-1 at Çaykur Didi Stadyumu to climb from 12th to 10th in the Süper Lig.

Loide Augusto opened the scoring in the 39th minute, steering a right-footed finish into the bottom left after Ali Sowe's set-up. Attila Mocsi doubled the lead from close range (43.), and VAR confirmed the goal after a review.

In the third minute of first half stoppage time, Qazim Laci swept in Casper Hojer's pass to make it three. After the restart, Augusto capped a fast break from Laci's through ball (50.) and was booked for his celebration.

Yahia Fofana made three saves to keep Samsunspor at bay as the visitors pushed after the break. The hosts, meanwhile, stayed clinical, turning six shots on target into a commanding advantage.

Cherif Ndiaye headed a late consolation in the third minute of second half stoppage time from Afonso Sousa's cross.
