Aurèle Amenda move to Coventry City close to completion | OneFootball

After reports emerged in late June suggesting a move to newly promoted Premier League side Coventry City had already been agreed, fresh updates from Sky Germany and journalist Christopher Michel indicate that Aurèle Amenda has now landed in England to complete the €20m transfer. 

The 22-year-old is expected to undergo his medical before the deal is officially announced on Thursday.

Amenda will link up with Coventry City under head coach Frank Lampard as the Sky Blues prepare for their first Premier League campaign since the 2000/01 season.

The Swiss international made 24 Bundesliga appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt last season and was included in Switzerland’s squad for this summer’s World Cup, although he did not feature during the tournament.
