Aurélien Tchouaméni missed France’s eve-of-match training before Iraq on Sunday night, the only player absent, according to L'Équipe.

Didier Deschamps’s side face Iraq on Monday at 23:00 French time.

The session unfolded on a pitch bordered by buildings and a railway line.

Team staff said he remained indoors for bike work and treatment with a physio and that there was no concern.

For France’s second World Cup fixture, the Real Madrid midfielder should start on the bench. Manu Koné should be picked alongside Adrien Rabiot in Deschamps’s 4-2-3-1.
