Aurélien Tchouaméni ruled out of France v Paraguay World Cup last 16

France have suffered a setback hours before their World Cup last-16 tie with Paraguay, with Aurélien Tchouaméni ruled out after a thigh problem in training. According to RMC, the Real Madrid midfielder was hurt during the final session.
The tie is in Philadelphia, kick-off 23:00 on Saturday. Tchouaméni, 26, is vice-captain of France.
He is expected to be replaced by Manu Koné in midfield alongside Adrien Rabiot.
Tchouaméni had completed three of France's first four matches at the tournament, victories over Senegal 3-1, Norway 4-1 and Sweden 3-0. On matchday two, a 3-0 win against Iraq, Koné deputised in the middle.
The rest of the French XI is expected to remain unchanged from the round of 32 against Sweden, with Lucas Digne and Bradley Barcola continuing on the left.
