Aurélio Buta departs | OneFootball

The 28-year-old defender leaves Eintracht Frankfurt after three and a half years.

Aurélio Buta moved to Frankfurt from Royal Antwerp in July 2022. The Portuguese made a total of 71 competitive appearances for the Eagles, in which he registered four goals – the first on his debut against Schalke 04 in January 2023 – and seven assists. The full-back spent last season on loan at Stade Reims in France, where he played 31 games.

Buta’s contract with Eintracht Frankfurt has been terminated with immediate effect.

“Aurélio was always a reliable team player for us and fought for the team with high professionalism,” said sporting director Timmo Hardung. “With that said, we granted his request for a new sporting challenge. We thank Aurélio for his service and wish him all the best for his future.”
