Auxerre host Nice in Ligue 1 at Stade de l'Abbé Deschamps on Sunday, 10 May 2026, with 16th facing 15th and just three points between them in a tight survival scrap.
Auxerre's recent meetings with Nice have often been tight, with four draws in the recent head-to-head record. Nice won August's reverse fixture 3-1, while three other clashes since 2022 finished 1-1.
Auxerre have lost one of their last five league games, capped by a 3-1 win over Angers. Les Aiglons arrive on a run of four straight Ligue 1 draws after a 1-1 at home to Lens.
Auxerre list Romain Faivre, Donovan Leon, Fredrik Oppegard, Oussama El Azzouzi and Yvan Zaddy as absentees. Les Aiglons are without Sepe Elye Wahi, Moïse Bombito and Everton Pereira da Silva.
On season trends, Auxerre have conceded 43 goals to Les Aiglons' 58 and kept eight clean sheets to five, so the hosts could fancy edging a low-margin contest. Nice may lean on deliveries, having attempted more open-play crosses with higher accuracy than Auxerre (22.17% v 18.26%). In the box, Lassine Sinayoko leads Auxerre with nine league goals, while Sofiane Diop is Les Aiglons' top scorer with seven.
A home win would move Auxerre to 31 points and could boost their bid to escape the relegation play-offs. Victory for Les Aiglons would take them to 34 points and may create daylight to the danger zone.
