Avaí Futebol Clube’s Human Development Center (NDH) has completed another stage of the Beyond the Field Project: the Sexuality Workshop, held with youth academy teams from U-14 to U-20. The work was carried out in an interdisciplinary way by the NDH team, with the participation of social educators in some of the meetings.

During the sessions, the athletes discussed body care, bodily changes, prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy, respect for the limits of one’s own body, healthy relationships, and emotional responsibility. The content was designed and adapted according to the reality and age group of each category, respecting the stage of development of each group.
