Aymeric Laporte and Yuri Berchiche manage workloads at Lezama before Copa derby | OneFootball

Athletic adjusted workloads at Lezama ahead of Wednesday’s Copa semi-final second leg against Real at Anoeta, with several players on tailored programmes.

As reported by as.com, Nico Williams, managing pubalgia, continues to split time between Pamplona and Lezama. Prados and Sannadi trained away from the main group in Monday’s sunny session, while youngsters Eder García and Monreal are involved with the first team for the cup derby.

For workload reasons Yuri Berchiche did not train with the group. Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta, who sustained a shoulder dislocation at Vallecas, is awaiting further tests to assess the extent of the injury. Aymeric Laporte worked separately after completing 90 minutes against Rayo Vallecano.

The positive news is Álex Berenguer, who is training normally with the group after his 45 minutes versus Rayo and a month sidelined with toe arthritis. Jauregizar is also at full tilt after a knee hyperextension.

Egiluz and Yeray are likewise training with the group under Valverde, though they are not yet available for selection as they rebuild rhythm after an ACL operation and a FIFA sanction, respectively.
