Bacha fit for Arsenal as Lyon assess Chawinga and Benyahia | OneFootball

Selma Bacha is fit for Arsenal, while Lyon have late calls to make on Tabitha Chawinga and Inès Benyahia. Both will travel but might not be at 100% for the Champions League semi-final first leg.

According to Le Progres, Bacha completed Saturday's final session before departure, a strong sign she can feature in London on Sunday at 16:30 at Emirates Stadium.

In contrast, Chawinga, Benyahia and Elma Nelhage did not take part in full training. Chawinga and Benyahia were also absent from a photo with Ada Hegerberg celebrating her 300th Lyon appearance, achieved in the Coupe de France semi-final in Strasbourg, a 6-0 win.

Head coach Jonatan Giraldez said the midweek win over Dijon, 4-0 on Wednesday, brought some late physical issues. He had to withdraw Chawinga with a muscle problem and Benyahia after a knock, and has tailored individual work to manage workloads. His aim is for the whole group to be fit to travel, then pick the best possible team and stay ready to make in-game changes.

Final decisions will follow further assessments before kick-off in London.
