Bacher header lifts Estoril to seventh | OneFootball

Estoril edged Nacional 1-0 at Estádio da Madeira, rising from eighth to seventh as the hosts slipped from 15th to 16th.

In the ninth minute, Felix Bacher glanced in a close-range header after Joao Carvalho's cross following a corner.

Joel Robles kept the visitors in front, tipping away Paulinho Boia's drive in the first half and clawing out Jesús Andrés Ramírez's point-blank header (51.).

Ian Cathro's changes steadied the game, with Xeka, Rafik Guitane and André coming on together (59.). Estoril then dug in, making 40 clearances to protect the lead.

Nacional tallied 16 attempts and enjoyed 54.9% possession but could not find a finish. Estoril registered 11 attempts and Robles made four saves.
