Early on Tuesday, Isaan Khan reported for the Daily Mail that of Arsenal’s six injured attacking players, all are understood to be likely available by early December. Now that number is five.
That list includes Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard, and Viktor Gyokeres, who were all expected to return around now anyway.
But it also included Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, for whom there has been less certainty around potential return dates.
Jesus in particular had originally been touted for a return at the end of 2025, possibly even making his comeback at late as January. So, to have him back available in early December would be a boost.

The injury news hasn’t all been positive lately, and it doesn’t seem as if there are many guarantees around the above six players with regards to the next few games against Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea.
It’s expected that Madueke will be back at least, given he was close to making his comeback for the Sunderland match before the break. But some others may not be so lucky.
HandofArsenal reports that Gyokeres is still a doubt for the match, and there’s little certainty around Martinelli and Havertz. On Tuesday afternoon, the German manager said that Havertz “had minor relapse on his injury, but overall he’s doing well. He is expected to return towards the end of the year”.
We may have to wait until Mikel Arteta’s press conference on Friday to get a clearer picture of what has happened with Havertz and which players in particular might be back.

As for Odegaard, there’s been mixed news over the international break, with Norway boss Stale Solbakken saying he’s “some distance away” but Odegaard himself saying the injury is “starting to look better, so hopefully I’ll be back soon”.
One definite positive is that Riccardo Calafiori is expected to be available for Spurs, but Gabriel Magalhaes will miss out.
It is now being reported by The Athletic that he is facing between one and two months on the sidelines with the thigh injury he picked up while playing for Brazil.
Arsenal are preparing to run more tests in the hope that isn’t the case. As The Athletic note, “Arsenal have 14 games in the next eight weeks.”
