Ballet strike lifts Antalyaspor to 16th | OneFootball

Antalyaspor beat Kocaelispor 1-0 in Antalya to rise from 17th to 16th in the Süper Lig.

Early on, Sander Van de Streek hit the bar after a swift break. Moments later, Serhat Öztaşdelen saved from Ramzi Safuri as the hosts pressed.

After the restart, Nikola Storm replaced Jesper Ceesay and quickly drew a save from Öztaşdelen. Samuel Ballet then forced the goalkeeper into another stop with a firm header.

In the 79th minute, Samuel Ballet drilled a right-footed effort from outside the box into the top centre to settle it, applied after a Van de Streek break.

Earlier, VAR ruled no penalty for Kocaelispor after a first half check. Daniel Agyei later departed injured in the second half.

Antalyaspor registered 16 attempts with five on target and 40.5% of the ball. Kocaelispor managed seven attempts, one on target, and 59.5% possession.
