Ballon d’Or Winner Ousmane Dembele Stuns Spectators at Asian Champions League Match in Qatar
French superstar Ousmane Dembele stunned spectators by appearing at the high profile Asian Champions league match between Qatar’s Al Duhail & Saudi giants Al Ahli on Monday evening.
The Paris Saint Germain forward's currently sidelined with hamstring injury and has travelled to Doha for treatment at Aspetar Hospital.
PSG confirmed earlier this week that the player would undergo part of his rehabilitation programme in Qatar.
During his stay, Dembele was spotted in the stands of the West Zone group stage showdown which saw Al Duhail take the lead in the 25 minute through Edmilson Junior.
The Frenchman'd already visited Al Ahli’s training camp earlier posing for photos with players & staff.
Dembele’s presence comes shortly after he was crowned the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner edging out Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and other global stars.
The award capped remarkable transformation for the forward who scored 35 goal and provided 16 assist in 53 appearances last season guiding PSG to historic treble of ligue 1, French cup and Champions league titles.
Once considered expendable at Barcelona, Dembele's rebuilt his reputation to become world football’s top individual prize winner.
His appearance in Doha not only highlights his rehabilitation process but also adds star power to one of Asia’s most anticipated fixtures.
