Folarin Balogun, Maghnes Akliouche and Lamine Camara are set to headline Monaco’s summer transfer story, notably with interest from England. According to L'Équipe, the trio are expected to be among the most sought-after names.

First comes Sunday at the Stade Louis-II, where they are set for what is almost certainly their final home appearance against Lille.

Balogun is tempted by a return to England. Irresistible in 2026 and effective across the Champions League campaign, Monaco’s leading scorer also has a personal target in sight. If he scores two more, the American will equal his 2022-2023 tally with Reims, 21 in all competitions.

Akliouche has stepped up a level. The La Diagonale graduate needed time to absorb his new status as a France international and the added responsibility at club level, but he raised his game in the second half of the season.

Camara’s stock is on the rise. After a promising first year in the Principality, the Senegal midfielder faced an ankle sprain that sidelined him for six weeks in autumn and then AFCON duty. His club performances became more consistent over the final third of the campaign.
