The situation led to physical altercations between Bayern supporters and security staff

The organized fan group „Südkurve München“ then clearly contradicted the police’s statements, which spoke of „serious violent assaults by the police unit deployed against FC Bayern fans“. Many supporters see the security forces as responsible for the escalation
