The Catalan economist didn’t mince his words:

“Real Madrid fans, coaches and pundits, there’s only one thing to say to them: they can go to hell!” he declared, before accusing the Spanish Federation of acting against Barça’s interests. “The Federation should be happy that Lamine is recovering. Or is their real goal to intentionally injure Barça players?”

Sala-i-Martin went on to remind everyone that the federation’s doctors “have no decision-making power” regarding the player’s health, insisting that only Barça’s medical staff are qualified to make such calls.
