Raphinha has continued his strong run of goalscoring form with an early Barcelona opener against Villarreal.

The Brazilian spent over a month out with a thigh injury before returning in late November as Barcelona thumped Athletic Club 4-0.

Raphinha returned to Hansi Flick's starting XI in recent matches and immediately made an impact with four goals in his last three LaLiga games.

The latest strike came from the spot as Raphinha fired the Catalan club into an early 1-0 lead at Villarreal.

Raphinha's afternoon almost got even better at Estadio de la Cerámica as he thumped the crossbar with a powerful strike just two minutes after netting the opener.
