Marc Casado is one of the players at FC Barcelona staring at an uncertain future heading into the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old, after all, has endured a difficult past year with regular minutes becoming hard to come by under manager Hansi Flick.
Casado finds himself behind Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Bernal, and Gavi in the pecking order, while the manager also preferred Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo ahead of him in midfield at times last season.
So, everything indicates that the La Masia graduate will be on his way out, with the Catalans hoping to boost revenue from his sale.
AC Milan, in that regard, have emerged as a suitor for Casado, with Jorge Mendes offering the Spaniard to the Rossoneri.

However, now, according to reports in Italy, as relayed by AS, Casado has rejected the possibility of joining the Serie A giants this summer.
Indeed, despite having an approach from Milan, the Barcelona midfielder has turned it down, with the report suggesting that he still hopes of fighting for a place in Flick’s plans.
That, however, seems unlikely given the number of players ahead of him in the order of preference for the German tactician.
Nevertheless, a move to Milan might no longer be on the cards, despite reports previously suggesting that the Rossoneri were leading the race for him.
With Casado rejecting AC Milan and no place for him Flick’s plans at Barcelona, he has plenty of other options to choose from.

Clubs from Saudi Arabia, in particular Al Hilal, have been monitoring his situation closely, with the possibility of using him in the Joao Cancelo operation being discussed.
Meanwhile, in the Premier League, Manchester United have shown an interest following the departure of Casemiro and the serious injury suffered by Manuel Ugarte, who was also destined to leave this summer.
Atletico Madrid are also admirers of Casado, although the tension between the two clubs could make a transfer tricky.
Nonetheless, as things stand, it is unlikely that the La Masia graduate will continue at Barcelona despite his desire to fight for a place.
