Barcelona goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili has returned from his loan spell at FC Andorra and is currently training with Hansi Flick’s first team, but all parties expect him to leave again in search of regular playing time, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper is one of the academy players participating in Barcelona’s pre-season preparations after spending last season on loan at Andorra.
Although he has rejoined the squad for training, his long-term future remains undecided.
For Yaakobishvili, the priority is clear: he wants to play regularly.

He was the club’s first-choice goalkeeper for most of the campaign, playing nearly every match until the middle of February before eventually losing his place in the starting lineup.
During the first half of the season, Barcelona were highly impressed with his performances.
At one stage, the club even considered him as a potential backup to Joan Garcia in the first team while Wojciech Szczesny’s future was still unresolved.
However, Barcelona’s goalkeeping hierarchy is now much clearer. Garcia will remain the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper, with Szczesny serving as his deputy.
The third goalkeeper role is expected to be shared by academy prospects Iker Rodriguez and Eder Aller, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen is still working to complete his loan move to Ajax.
Rather than compete for the third-choice position, Yaakobishvili prefers another loan where he can continue playing regularly. A second temporary move is therefore considered the most likely outcome.
So far in his time at the club, Yaakobishvili has made three appearances for Barça Atletic. The goalkeeper has already made his senior international debut for Hungary and believes he has outgrown academy football.

He is not alone in this situation as other academy talents like such as Toni Fernandez, Guille Fernandez and Jofre Torrents are also considered to have completed their developmental stage within the academy.
As such, Barcelona are exploring opportunities for them to continue progressing at a higher competitive level.
For Toni and Guille , any future loan move is expected to follow the signing of new long-term contracts with the club.
For Yaakobishvili, however, the immediate objective is simple: secure another season of regular football and continue his development away from Camp Nou, with there being no shortage of interest in him.
