Barcelona have stepped up plans to find a new club for Roony Bardghji this summer, with the Swedish youngster expected to leave in search of regular first-team football.
The Blaugrana view Bardghji as an important player for the future, but with competition for places increasing and new signings arriving, the club believe a move away is currently the best solution for his development.
This is why, according to SPORT, Barcelona would ideally prefer a sale with a buy-back clause, although the most likely outcome at this stage is a loan move before the start of the new season.
It is known that creating salary space remains one of Barcelona’s priorities this summer, and outgoing transfers are playing a major role in the club’s planning.

In that context, Bardghji has become one of the players whose future is being actively discussed, largely because there are no guarantees he will receive consistent minutes under Hansi Flick next season.
According to the outlet, Ajax are currently among the strongest candidates to secure his signature and have already held discussions with Barcelona regarding a potential loan deal.
Notably, it is said that a permanent transfer remains highly unlikely, as Barcelona are determined to maintain control over the player’s future and do not want to risk losing one of the most promising young talents.

Notably, the Dutch giants are not alone, as clubs from La Liga are also monitoring the situation closely, while several major European teams have entered the conversation.
While Ajax can offer regular minutes and European football, they face competition from clubs such as Monaco, Porto, Stuttgart and Olympique de Marseille.
Some of those clubs would reportedly be open to signing the player permanently with a buy-back clause included in the agreement.
Ultimately, the final decision will belong to Bardghji himself. The player is understood to have requested a move to play more regularly, and Barcelona are prepared to support that decision as long as it aligns with their long-term plans.
