Barcelona and Manchester City ‘reach agreement’ for Rodri | OneFootball

AFP reports that Barcelona and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Rodri after several days of negotiations on Sunday night, citing a source at the Catalan club. The deal is said to be worth around 70 million euros.

The Athletic says the 30-year-old midfielder should join Barcelona for about 60 million euros plus at least 10 million in bonuses.

Rodri, a World Cup winner with Spain, was named player of the tournament less than a month ago.

If the move is finalised, the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner would return to his homeland seven years after leaving for Manchester City.

Before moving to England, he had spent one season at Atlético Madrid following a five-year spell with Villarreal.
