Following the signing of Joao Cancelo, it is unlikely Barcelona would want to sign any more players in the ongoing January transfer window.
However, the club remain on alert for star talents across Europe, with an eye for a potential move in the summer of 2026.
One such player is Rayane Bounida, who has emerged on the radar of not only Barcelona but also Real Madrid, reports AS.
A native of Belgium with Moroccan heritage, Bounida is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for Ajax.
At the age of just 19, Bounida has already impressed onlookers with his technical qualities. He has also racked up 13 competitive appearances for Ajax, mustering five assists in the process.

Bounida’s ability to create chances in the final third, coupled with his versatility, makes him one of the most intriguing talents in Belgian football right now.
The report suggests Barcelona and Real Madrid have both intensified their monitoring of Bounida, as they believe he could become the next big thing to come out of Ajax.
The youngster, who recently received praise from Jose Mourinho, has been identified as the ideal fit for the project at Camp Nou.
Therefore, it is no surprise that the Catalans are right now weighing up options with an eye for a potential move in the summer. His contract situation, in particular, is being closely monitored.
Ajax, for their part, remain calm about Bounida’s situation. But with major clubs across Europe, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, interested in his services, only time will tell whether or not the Dutch giants will be able to keep hold of their star talent.
