Barcelona consider return for Real Betis star | OneFootball

The brass at Barcelona have earmarked a member of the attacking ranks at La Liga rivals Real Betis as a potential transfer target for the summer

The player in question? Ez Abde.

The name of wide-man Ez will of course be a familiar one to those of a Barcelona persuasion.

This comes with the Moroccan international having spent two years on the books at the Camp Nou, between 2021 and 2023.

Ez went on to rack up 12 La Liga appearances in the colours of the Blaugrana, before departing for Real Betis on a permanent basis three years ago.

And the 24-year-old’s development, in particular across the current campaign, is now understood to have piqued the attentions of his former employers.

As per a report from Fichajes, with nine goals and eight assists to his name this season:

‘His return to Barcelona appears to be a real possibility. At Barça, they value his dribbling skills, his directness, and his ability to play on the wing—qualities that fit the team’s attacking style.’

It is also noted, however, that working out a deal with Betis would not be easy, with the Verdiblancos having little intention of parting with Ez this summer.
