Barcelona ‘considering’ €60m move for Porto star | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are giving consideration to a big-money move for a member of the attacking ranks at Porto.

That’s according to Fichajes, who point towards Samuel ‘Samu’ Omorodion as the player in question.

The name of frontman Samu will be a familiar one to close followers of Spanish football.

This comes with the 21-year-old – already a fully-established La Roja international – having spent time on the books of all of Granada, Deportivo Alavés and Atlético Madrid.

Samu departed his home country for Portugal in the summer of 2024, and has since continued to build on his reputation as a future star in the making.

After finding the net 27 times across his debut season with Porto, the powerful attacker has since added five more goals in 2025/26.

And such exploits, it would appear, have not gone unnoticed back in Spain…

As per a report from Fichajes, amid an ongoing search for a replacement for the aging Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona have earmarked Samu as a potential option.

To the point that ‘the Blaugrana club is considering making an offer of 60 million to sign him’.
