Barcelona duo’s agent holds informal meeting with Deco to discuss their situation | OneFootball

Four games and one month into the new season, FC Barcelona are finally starting to hit their stride, as was seen in their 6-0 thrashing of Valencia this past Sunday.

Not all players have been performing at their best thus far, but there are a lot of promising signs for Hansi Flick.

One of the biggest positives has been the performances of new signing Joan Garcia, while Dani Olmo’s slow start is somewhat of a concern.

Andy Bara meets Deco

Amidst all this, Andy Bara, the agent of both Garcia and Olmo, held an informal meeting with Barcelona director Deco earlier today, reports Carlos Monfort of SPORT.

The Croatian agent was at Estadi Johan Cruyff today and held a meeting with the Blaugrana’s transfer chief to discuss the situation of both his clients.

As mentioned earlier, Garcia’s start at Barcelona, since his controversial move from RCD Espanyol, has simply been exceptional.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper has excelled between the sticks while also showcasing his ball-playing abilities in his short time with the Blaugrana.

As for Olmo, though, things have not gone according to plan, with the Spanish attacking midfielder failing to perform at the level expected.

So much so that Fermin Lopez has firmly overtaken the 27-year-old in the pecking order under Hansi Flick.

It must be noted that Bara also represents young prospect Lovro Chelfi, who joined the La Masia ranks from NK Kustosija this summer. He also happens to be the agent of Cardoso Varela, a long-term target for the Catalans.
