Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has provided an update on the wellbeing of star attacker Lamine Yamal.

This comes after the 18-year-old set alarm bells sounding on Thursday night.

Spain of course marked their return to action yesterday, making the trip to Sofia for a World Cup qualifying meeting with Bulgaria.

When all was said and done, La Roja cruised to the right side of a 3-0 result.

The aforementioned Lamine, meanwhile, featured from the off, and laid on an assist amid another fine individual showing.

Late in the 90, however, the winger was forced into a departure from proceedings, whilst clutching his back.

As much sparked immediate and altogether understandable concern amongst those of a Barcelona persuasion.

Such supporters, it would appear, though, can breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of Thursday’s clash, Luis de la Fuente confirmed that, whilst Lamine is set to sit out training later today, he is expected to be available to feature against Turkey this weekend.
