Barcelona are preparing for a summer of big decisions, and part of that includes the possible sale of three players, namely, Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado, and Andreas Christensen.

According to reports from Fichajes, it has come to light that the club’s management has agreed that the squad, particularly the midfield, has become overcrowded.

With stars like Frenkie de Jong and Pedri already commanding starting roles, and younger talents such as Gavi, Dani Olmo, and Marc Bernal pushing through, there is little room left for others to grow.

Unfortunately for Casado, he seems to be the one losing ground. The 21-year-old La Masia product started strong but faded in the latter half of last season.

While he is still viewed as a promising talent, Barcelona are open to selling him if the right offer comes in – around €30 million is believed to be the asking price.

Fermin is another player who may be on his way out. The energetic midfielder has caught the attention of Manchester United, who are said to be ready to spend nearly €70 million to secure his services.

The English club sees Fermin as a strong addition to their midfield and are reportedly ready to offer him a solid contract.

While Fermin has already turned down offers from Chelsea and some Saudi clubs, the Premier League could still tempt him, especially if Barcelona agree to the sale.

As for Christensen, the situation is slightly different. The Danish defender is not seen as a crucial piece by Flick, and given his value in the market, he may be sold to help bring in much-needed funds.

While president Joan Laporta has insisted that player registrations are on track, everyone at the club understands that profitable sales are essential to making further moves in the transfer window.

With August now underway, time is running out, decisions will have to be made soon.
