La Liga giants Barcelona will have more representatives than any other club at the upcoming semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup.
This comes owing chiefly to the Blaugrana’s dominant presence in the Spanish national team camp.
The final four contestants to go all the way at this summer’s World Cup are of course now known. On one side of the draw, tournament favourites France will lock horns with the aforementioned Spain.
And as alluded to above, leading the way when it comes to club representation across the quartet of countries are Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.
The Blaugrana have the following players still in contention to go all the way on the grandest stage in football over the next week:
Joan García, Pau Cubarsí, Eric García, Pedri, Gavi, Dani Olmo, Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, Jules Koundé and Anthony Gordon.
Next up when it comes to representatives are another leading La Liga outfit in Atlético Madrid (9), followed by Mikel Arteta’s English champions Arsenal (8).
