FC Barcelona will lock horns with Como 1907 tomorrow at Estadi Johan Cruyff in the Joan Gamper Trophy match – their traditional curtain-raiser for the new season.
After a successful pre-season tour of Asia, where they bagged three wins in three, Hansi Flick & Co. go into the match in a confident mood.
However, Barça are set to be without some important players for the game as Inigo Martinez is set to complete his move away to Al Nassr while Robert Lewandowski is out with injury.
Flick is also sweating over the availability of key playmaker Dani Olmo, who did not train with the squad on Friday.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Olmo once again trained away from the group on Saturday morning as a precaution, still dealing with the muscle overload that kept him out of Friday’s session.
Despite the setback, he has not been ruled out of the Joan Gamper Trophy clash yet, and there is hope that the midfield ace becomes available to face Como.

Olmo is a key player for Flick, but the Spanish international endured a debut campaign riddled with niggling injuries and fitness problems in 2024/25.
And, things have not begun on the best note for him heading into the new season with this early fitness blow casting doubts on his availability tomorrow against Como.
Meanwhile, Marc-Andre ter Stegen also remains unavailable for the game after undergoing back surgery last month.
Interestingly, Flick called up reserve-team goalkeeper Eder Aller to train with the senior team today, in place of Diego Kochen, who is set to feature for Barça Atletic in their friendly against Nàstic later today.
