FC Barcelona are headed to El Sadar to take on Osasuna in La Liga. With the league title now within touching distance, the Catalan giants cannot afford to get overconfident and throw away their lead.
Fortunately, Hansi Flick seems to be fully aware of this, and the fact that this title is Barça’s only remaining major objective this season. For that reason, it is highly likely that the German tactician will field the best possible eleven that he can here.
Here is how La Blaugrana could line up for this game.

Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia
The Spanish goalkeeper remains a guarantee in between the sticks and he has been immense for Barça this season. In this game, he should be the one starting without a doubt.
Right-back: Eric Garcia
Always a versatile option and ready to be deployed anywhere on the field, Flick’s reliance on Eric Garcia is well-deserved. For this particular outing, it seems likely the Spaniard will end up starting.
Centre-back: Pau Cubarsi
Immensely talented, and rather experienced by now despite being a young defender, Pau Cubarsi is a leader at the back for Flick’s team. A top performance from him in this game could be crucial.
Centre-back: Gerard Martin
A dependable partner for Pau Cubarsi in defense, Gerard Martin’s transition to the centre-back role has been impressive to say the least. In this game, perhaps his reliability could prove to be key.
Left-back: Joao Cancelo
With his trickery and skill, Joao Cancelo tends to make life difficult for any team that he faces. However, especially against a team like Osasuna that would love to defend deeper, Cancelo’s quality could help Barça open up some spaces.
CDM: Gavi
Always willing to help his teammates with anything on the field, Gavi is a pure soldier through and through. Moreover, his technical ability remains criminally underrated, and this could be a good opportunity for him to showcase it.
CDM: Pedri
The Spanish maestro continues to lead the way for Barça with some big performances in recent games. His ability to control the tempo of any game and create chances is second to none, and Barça could use that here.
RAM: Roony Bardghji
With Lamine Yamal likely sidelined for the rest of the season, Roony Bardghji should be good to start this game. However, with Raphinha now back from injury, the young Swedish winger will need to earn his place as Yamal’s replacement.
CAM: Dani Olmo
Possessing a high level of technical ability and the intelligence to play well in tight spaces, Dani Olmo will need to step up in this game if he ends up starting. His profile could be a useful one for Flick to trust here.
LAM: Fermin Lopez
Always intense and dedicated with his actions in any game, Fermin Lopez adds bite to this Barcelona team. In a game like this, that kind of bite and drive could prove to impactful for the team.
The Spanish forward has been enjoying a good run of form recently, and making the most of it is something that Barça should be doing. For that reason, he might be a good pick to start here.
